We're hiring a motivated Lawn Care Technician to join our locally owned team serving South Austin, Buda, Kyle, San Marcos, and surrounding communities.
This is NOT a mowing or landscaping position. We specialize in fertilization, weed control, and professional lawn treatments using industry-leading equipment.
A Schedule That Rewards Efficiency
Monday–Friday | 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
We guarantee 40 hours of weekly pay, even when routes are completed early.
Finish your assigned work while maintaining our quality standards, and you can head home with a full eight hours of pay.
Our technicians typically work approximately 35 hours per week while receiving pay for 40.
We provide year-round employment and consistent pay during slower winter months.
What We Offer
- $20–$24/hour, based on experience.
- 40 hours of guaranteed weekly pay, even when routes finish early.
- Monday–Friday schedule, with no regularly scheduled weekends.
- Approximately two weeks paid off during Christmas and New Year's.
- Five paid vacation days annually.

What You'll Do
- Apply fertilizer, weed control, and other lawn treatments accurately and safely.
- Operate Lawn Doctor's proprietary Turf Tamer equipment and company vehicles.
- Complete assigned routes efficiently without sacrificing quality.
- Follow customer instructions and protect lawns, landscaping, and property.
- Identify lawn problems and communicate recommendations to customers.
- Maintain accurate service records and care for company equipment.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation to our Buda location.
- Ability to work outdoors in Texas heat and changing weather conditions.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use required protective equipment.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Lawn treatment, landscaping, pest control, or route service experience is preferred but not required. We'll train the right person.
Training & Career Growth
