    Description

    As the helpdesk's first level of support at the Law School, the student worker will be trained to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues. They will be responsible for responding to first-level helpdesk tickets, reimaging laptops, and assisting full-time technicians. All work will be documented by creating tickets in the ITS helpdesk system. No experience is necessary, but is welcome.

    • Respond to incoming 1st-level helpdesk tickets (training will be provided)
    • Assist technicians with tickets when needed
    • Re-image computers (will train)
    • Checking Pharos printers and refilling paper when needed
    • Some lifting and moving of computer equipment
    • Strong customer service and organizational skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must be able to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.
    • Reliable and patient with visitors.
    • Office experience a plus.
    • Ability to work independently.

    Exact schedule to be determined with supervisor; no more than 20 hours per week when school is in session and no more than 35 hours per week during breaks.
