Law Firm Staff Accountant

Join our dynamic financial team to deliver crucial insights and oversee essential financial tasks such as preparing comprehensive financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets. You will lead our billing operations, manage a team ensuring efficient and timely processes, and control both accounts payable and receivable by handling vendor invoices and client payments. Proficiency in using QuickBooks is required for reconciling various escrow and operating accounts. You'll also support our close processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, provide guidance on timekeeping and billing practices, and coordinate closely with senior management and payroll to integrate bonus and billing data seamlessly. Your advisory skills will empower our attorneys and staff to make informed financial decisions. We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, at least five years of experience in an insurance defense firm, and a strong understanding of GAAP and team management experience.
