SALARY: $100k-$115k/yr. DOE

LOCATION: Portland, OR

SCHEDULE: Full-time; Monday-Friday | 8:00am-5:00pm | Hybrid

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Oversee all day-to-day office operations, including administrative functions, facilities, technology systems, records management, vendor relationships, workplace safety, and business continuity planning.
  • Lead the recruitment, onboarding, supervision, development, and performance management of administrative staff to ensure effective operational support.
  • Manage employee benefits, leave programs, personnel records, and workplace policies while supporting compliance with employment and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate firm marketing and business development initiatives, including website management, client communications, advertising, networking events, and community outreach.
  • Partner with firm leadership and attorneys to implement operational goals, oversee budgets and vendor contracts, improve processes, and drive special projects that support firm growth and efficiency.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. 
  • 5+ years of office administration, operations management, or firm administration experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. 
  • Strong leadership, supervisory, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across attorneys, staff, clients, vendors, and firm leadership. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, lead projects, exercise sound judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining strong attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with legal practice management systems, QuickBooks, and familiarity with employment and regulatory compliance preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is based in a professional office environment and requires extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment. The ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 25 pounds, such as office supplies, files, or equipment, is required.
