Law Clerk II - Washington, DC
Duration: 12+ months, Onsite
Position Details:
Work under the direction of a Supervisory Paralegal or Project Manager.
Perform complex legal research and prepare draft legal documents.
Review documents for relevance and privilege.
Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation.
Act independently and/or as a team leader on larger projects.
Primary interface with trial attorneys, experts, and other staff.
Required Skills:
Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in litigation support or related projects.
Proven communication skills to interact successfully with attorneys.
Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems and legal research procedures.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
Hands-on familiarity with computer applications like word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging.
Knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
Additional Specifics:
At least 2 years of Relativity document review experience.
