Job Summary
The Law Clerk will assist attorneys with legal research, case preparation, document drafting, and the day-to-day management of personal injury cases. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced legal environment while maintaining confidentiality and providing professional support to attorneys and clients.

Responsibilities 

• Draft initial pleadings, complaints, interrogatories, requests for production, and deposition outlines.
• Summarize medical records, bills, diagnostic imaging reports, and expert witness opinions.
• Perform cite-checking and proofreading for court filings.
• Conduct legal research on tort law, statutes of limitations, and liability.
• Investigate accident facts, police reports, witness statements, and insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited Juris Doctor (J.D.) program (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year) or a recent law school graduate.

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and analytical capabilities.
• Familiarity with legal research tools (Westlaw or LexisNexis).
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing heavy document loads.
