JOB DESCRIPTION
Student Organization Ambassador
Hourly Pay Rate: $12/hr
The Student Organization Ambassadors (SOA''s) will support the Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life, the Student Organization Center, and the Assistant Director of Student Organizations in various administrative and operational tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Host office hours in the Student Organization Center- 7-10 hours a week
- Will serve on the LBC Council Allocation Committee to determine and allocate student organization annual budgets, as well as facilitate the travel budget request process for the LBC sponsored RSO's (Academic, Exploration, Programming, Political, Performance, Media, Student Governance)
- Assist with RSO trainings and events such as Welcome Back Meeting and Activities Expos
- Support the Assistant Director of Student Organizations in development and facilitation of new RSO Advisor training, RSO Advisor Meetings, New/Current Student Leader training and development, Renewal Workshop and Office Hours
- Be knowledgeable in the major RSO processes via the RSO handbook, including the event registration, finance and budget request, and RSO renewal processes
- Support student organizations in Wavesync management and operations
Qualifications:
- Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University
- A Federal Work Study Award (potentially)

- Current active and enrolled student for the 2026-2027 School Year
- Able to commit to fall and spring semesters, along with some evening commitments during the year
- Is in good academic standing at Tulane
- Conduct Verification conducted
- Previous Student Organization involvement preferred, but not required
