Laundry & Linen Associate - Lutheran Hospital

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a World-Class Hospital in Cleveland, OH to hire Laundry and Linen Associates. This is a part-time, first shift opportunity (6:30 AM - 3 PM), working 3-4 days per week with rotating weekends. The pay rate is $15/hour. This role focuses on ensuring patient safety through cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report discrepancies in linen counts to the Supervisor. Checks linen supplies throughout shift to ensure sufficient supply of linens are available advising the Supervisor of problems or deficiencies.
• The collection and transportation of soiled linen from laundry chutes and other soil collection areas; back to the Soiled Holding room.
• Monitors each of their assigned units for rejected or unfit for use items (orange bags), returning them to the Linen Room for proper handling.
• Properly stock linens; neatly and in an organized manner as outlined in department training.

Required Qualifications:

• Reliable and punctual
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Willing to Obtain a 1 step TB test and flu shot as part of onboarding process
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Able to push or pull 75 pounds or greater
• Reliable means of transportation
• Previous experience in Janitorial, Custodial or Hotel Housekeeping is a plus
