What You'll DoLaundry OperationsSort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothingOperate laundry equipment safely and efficientlyDeliver clean linens throughout the facilityMonitor linen inventory and restock supplies as neededMaintain laundry equipment and report maintenance concernsHelp keep the laundry department clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsAssist with training new employees and supporting department needsEnvironmental ServicesClean and disinfect patient rooms, resident rooms, offices, hallways, and common areasSanitize high-touch surfaces to support infection prevention effortsSweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and carpetsRemove waste and biohazard materials according to established proceduresRestock supplies in assigned areasClean GMC-owned apartments and other assigned spacesAssist with bed preparation and linen changesFollow all safety, PPE, and infection control guidelinesWhat We're Looking ForStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to work independently and stay organizedPositive attitude and willingness to help wherever neededGood communication and customer service skillsRespect for patient privacy and confidentialityAbility to adapt to changing priorities in a healthcare setting QualificationsPreferredHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious housekeeping, custodial, laundry, hospitality, or environmental services experienceNo Experience?
