What You'll Do

As a Laundry Aide, you will help ensure our residents have clean clothing, fresh linens, and a comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Collect resident laundry daily and as needed

Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens

Label new resident clothing items as needed

Deliver clean laundry promptly to resident rooms

Inspect linens and clothing for stains, tears, and damage

Remove worn or damaged linens from service

Maintain inventory of laundry supplies

Follow all infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures

Operate washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely and efficiently

Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly

Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laundry area

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or healthcare experience preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail

Dependable attendance and positive attitude

Commitment to providing excellent service to residents and coworkers

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely operate laundry equipment
