Lathe Machinist

Founded in 1968, our company has become a niche player in the manufacturing industry as we continue to create high quality, graphite-based components for the aerospace industry. We are happy to say that we will be expanding into new facilities! With the expansion comes growth, and we are in need of a valuable member of our machining team to help create intricate components for our clients. This is a particularly good fit for those with Lathe experience!

Shift: B (3pm to 11:30pm) or C shift (11pm to 7:30am). 

Pay: $20-25/hour DOE. There is a 10% differential for the B shift, and 15% for C!

Principle Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes or mills
• Produce quality components at very high tolerances (this is for the aerospace industry!)
• 1st piece inspection and routine quality control
• Assist maintenance with troubleshooting equipment issues
• Maximize output for any given task
• Effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors

Your Abilities and Background:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Direct machining experience is required for this position. There is a strong preference for those with experienced with CNC lathes
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Punctual, communicative, and willing to learn
