    If developing people, driving schedule performance, and raising the bar on safety and quality light you up, this role is for you.

    Your Mission

    • Own Argon’s Safety, Quality, and Production objectives on the floor—and make them real in everyday work.
    • Keep ISO front and center: QAPs, work instructions, and correct use of inspection equipment.
    • Turn blueprints and drawings into clear, executable plans for lasers, turrets, and press brakes.

    What Success Looks Like

    • Efficiency rises: you analyze Time Variance Reports daily and act on what the numbers say.
    • Schedules hold: you manage the Foreman’s Report, expedite cross-department work, and align people and resources.
    • Materials are ready: skids, boxes, fixtures, stays, tooling—all staged to start on time.
    • Communication is crisp: issues are surfaced and resolved via email, meetings, and on-the-spot coaching.
    • Work areas stay clean and orderly—always.

    Lead the Team

    • Train, monitor, and enforce adherence to Argon standards: Safety, Job Travelers, JobBOSS entries, programs, schedules, issuing materials, problem identification, process improvements, managing quantity discrepancies, and skids/packaging.
    • Build morale and develop talent—coach for growth, address performance gaps quickly.
    • Review, correct, and sign off on daily attendance and job records.

    Quality & Equipment Expertise

    • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections when required.
    • Know your assets: lasers, turrets, and press brakes—how they run and what they need.
    • Bonus value: perform basic machine maintenance with proper documentation; escalate issues to your supervisor without delay.
    • Jump in to set up and operate equipment in your area as needed.

    What You Bring

    • Leadership and people management skills that get results.
    • Lean manufacturing experience—comfortable coaching and mentoring to standard work.
    • ERP literacy (JobBOSS or similar).
    • Ability to read blueprints and apply ISO-aligned inspection practices.
