Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a second shift Laser Punch Operator in the Gahanna, Ohio, area. This is a full time, temp to hire position.
Required Qualifications
- Punch and Laser Operation experience; Minimum of 2 years
- Maintain and troubleshoot (preferred: Amada) punches and lasers for precision custom fabrication
- Physically able to manually offload materials; pulling, pushing, grasping metal products between 15-75 lbs. regularly
Preferred Qualifications
- Automation experience preferred, but training is available
- Punch experience preferred, but training is available
- Familiarity with nesting is desired
- Knowledgeable/experience in changing lenses and conducting routine preventive laser maintenance
- Programming/modifying downloaded programs
- Proven ability to read and interpret prints/drawings to fabricate parts
- Ability to identify metals such as cold rolled, galvaneel, stainless, aluminum, etc.
- High attention to detail and safety
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal laser training preferred but not required; on-the-job experience considered
- Familiarity with ISO procedures/quality standards is beneficial
Physical Requirements
- Independence is necessary, as is the ability to work as part of a team
- Standing, sitting, reaching, bending, stretching, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Pushing, pulling, and fine tactical skills necessary
