    Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Laser Operator role in Vancouver, WA.     Key Responsibilities:

    · Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting equipment to ensure efficient and accurate production output.
    · Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products while maintaining production flow.
    · Interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure parts are manufactured to exact specifications.
    · Perform routine machine adjustments and basic maintenance to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
    · Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product accuracy.
    · Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate maintenance concerns when necessary.
    · Maintain accurate production records, including material usage, machine performance, and completed work orders.
    · Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
    · Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
    · Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and workflow processes.

     

    Qualifications:

    · High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
    · Previous experience operating laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
    · Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions accurately.
    · Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
    · Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
    · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    · Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
    · Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
    · Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime, as needed.
