Position Summary
Our client, a leading global designer and manufacturer of audiovisual solutions, is seeking a dependable Tube Laser Operator to operate and monitor tube laser equipment used to produce high-quality metal components. Candidates with experience operating lasers, CNC equipment, or other metal fabrication machinery are preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are also valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate tube laser equipment according to production schedules.
- Load raw materials and safely unload finished parts.
- Perform machine changeovers, including tooling and lens changes as needed.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Enter production information accurately into the manufacturing system.
- Work with the Laser Programmer to identify opportunities to improve programs, quality, and efficiency.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety policies and operating procedures.
- Meet daily production and quality goals.
- Assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.
