Laser Operator

when necessary in order to assist in our goal of producing highly precise, defects-free products and services for our customers. This is a fast-paced JOB SHOP team environment where all associates are cross-trained and utilized in various depts.

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and qualified Laser Operator with a highly-trained eye for quality to join our Gahanna, Ohio team!

Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:15 pm- 1:45 am
Pay Rate: Starting at $20/hr .

REQUIRED:
Laser Operation experience; Minimum of 2 years
Maintain and Trouble Shoot (Amada) Lasers for Precision Custom fabrication
Physically able to manually offload materials; Pulling, pushing, grasping, metal products between 15-75 lbs. regularly.

• Automation experience is preferred / but will train.
• Punch experience is preferred / but will train.
• Familiarity with nesting desired.
• Knowledgeable about changing lenses, and conducting routine preventive laser maintenance.
• Programming / modifying downloaded programs.
• Proven ability to read and interpret prints/drawings to fabricate parts.
• Ability to identify metals such as cold rolled, galvaneel, stainless, aluminum, etc.
• High attention to detail and safety.

EDUCATION:
High school or equivalent.
