Job Responsibilities-
- Operate and maintain laser, waterjet, shear, and saw machines to cut and shape metal components.
- Load and unload materials using cranes, forklifts, or manually, following all safety protocols.
- Interpret blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate machine setup and part specifications.
- Perform precision measurements on finished parts using calipers and tape measures to ensure compliance.
- Conduct basic machine maintenance and report any performance or safety issues.
- Assist with tagging, packing, and staging of parts for shipping or further processing.
- Support cross-functional teams as needed and remain available for overtime to meet project deadlines.
Job Requirements-
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating and maintaining laser equipment in a production setting.
- OSHA safety training and valid forklift experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Comfortable using precision measuring tools and applying math skills related to decimals, fractions, and tolerances.
- Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly and work in varying environmental conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Able to work independently with strong judgment and time management.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
