Laser Cutter

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and be capable of setting up, operating, and optimizing machinery to ensure high-quality production. We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator and/or High-Speed Turret Punch Operator to join our team.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator and/or High-Speed Turret Punch Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication and be capable of setting up, operating, and optimizing machinery to ensure high-quality production.

Preferred Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience operating laser cutting machines and/or high-speed turret punch presses
• Experience working in a manufacturing or sheet metal environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work travelers to identify material requirements and job specifications
• Retrieve and run part programs from the system
• Load sheet metal materials onto machines using a pneumatic crane and/or forklift
• Set up and adjust machine parameters to maximize cutting efficiency and part quality
• Monitor cutting rates and compare performance to specifications outlined in work travelers
• Perform nesting and/or “shake out” of parts after cutting
• Ensure quality standards are met while maintaining production efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret production documents and blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (or willingness to be trained)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adjust machine settings as needed
