Description

Sterling Medical is hiring Medical Support Assistants (MSAs) to support the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

We are seeking 9 full-time MSAs to provide administrative and patient support within the VA Radiology Service.

Position Details

9 positions available 
Full-time 
40 hours per week 
Days, nights, and weekends may be required 
Schedule will vary based on VA staffing needs 
Responsibilities

Schedule appointments based on orders and consults 
Provide preparation instructions to Veterans and patients 
Make and receive high-volume inbound and outbound calls 
Check patients in and support patient flow 
Enter, retrieve, and update information in the Veteran’s electronic medical record 
Perform radiology patient administration duties 
Process CD requests and radiology virtual fileroom tasks 
Communicate professionally with Veterans, staff, and other customers 
Qualifications

Previous administrative, medical office, scheduling, or customer service experience preferred 
Strong computer and communication skills 
Excellent organizational and customer service skills 
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment 
Professional and compassionate approach when working with Veterans
