What You Will Do:

As a Production Technician, youll be at the forefront of the production process. Your responsibilities include complying with safety standards and maintaining organized work areas. Youll handle finished products, ensuring they are properly secured and prepared for shipment by applying protection, battens, and banding. Youll identify and sort non-conforming materials, assist with saw operations, and measure product dimensions. Additionally, youll provide stock materials to production lines, understand aluminum alloy specifications, and maintain accurate traceability for each order. Flexibility is key, as youll also support other areas and perform various duties as needed to keep the plant running seamlessly.

Required Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Dependability and accountability in daily tasks
  • Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures
  • Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attendance and reliability

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing or production settings
  • Knowledge of aluminum alloys and material traceability
  • Previous experience operating industrial saws or packaging equipment

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior manufacturing or metalworking experience is a plus but not required

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends twice a month
  • Willingness to adapt to varying temperature conditions and physical demands
