Summary/Objective The Production Assistant operates in a fast-paced environment assisting in the printing and finishing of large format banners, posters and signage on a variety of substrates. Work Environment - Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Operating foot peddle machine controls. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects with or without the assistance of other or equipment. VISUAL ACUITY REQUIREMENTS: Visual acuity to perform: Operates machines, where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach; determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Make general observations of the facilities and workspace. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with normal work-week of 40 hours.
