Position Overview:
A local custom metal fabrication company is seeking a dependable and hardworking 2nd Shift Large Assembly worker. This position involves working with sheet metal products in a manufacturing environment and requires physical strength and attention to detail.
Job Description:
- Sand, grind, and deburr sheet metal components by removing rough edges and excess material from cut metal parts.
- Assemble finished sheet metal products, including metal enclosures, electrical boxes, cabinets, and other fabricated components.
- Handle and move sheet metal materials, which may be large, heavy, or awkward to lift and maneuver.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous industrial, manufacturing, fabrication, or production experience preferred.
- Experience using hand and power tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
