Commercial Lines Account Manager

$90,000–$120,000

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager with a strong background managing large, complex commercial accounts to join a growing, privately held organization expanding its regional footprint throughout the Northeast.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance professional who is comfortable managing sophisticated accounts, working directly with key decision-makers, and coordinating complex insurance programs from renewal through ongoing servicing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop strong, long-term relationships with clients while serving as a trusted advisor.

  • Manage a portfolio of large and complex Commercial Lines accounts and serve as a primary point of contact for clients.

  • Review and analyze exposures, coverage, limits, deductibles, and program structure, making appropriate recommendations to clients.

  • Prepare new business and renewal applications and coordinate comprehensive marketing submissions.

  • Develop client proposals, renewal presentations, and coverage comparisons.

  • Coordinate the day-to-day servicing of complex accounts, including endorsements, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), invoices, policy changes, and other transactions.

  • Work closely with carriers and underwriters to negotiate terms, obtain competitive coverage, and resolve complex account issues.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key carrier partners and markets.

  • Participate in client renewal meetings and assist with renewal strategy and presentations.

  • Coordinate with producers, clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.

  • Proactively identify coverage gaps, service opportunities, and ways to improve the overall client experience.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.

  • Proven experience managing large, complex commercial accounts.

  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty coverages, markets, and policy structures.

  • Experience working directly with sophisticated commercial clients and key decision-makers.

  • Strong understanding of the commercial insurance renewal and marketing process.

  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license.

  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple complex accounts and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of client service.

  • Collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
