POSITION: HVAC SPECIALIST
REPORTS TO: Director of Facilities and Maintenance
SALARY RANGE: Mid $60’s to $70k annually, depending on education, qualifications, and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HVAC Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related building automation systems across Lanier Technical College campuses. This position ensures that all HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations to provide a comfortable learning and working environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Will also perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests and emergencies, maintains system documentation, and assists with facility improvement projects while supporting the College's mission of excellence in education and service.

This position requires frequent lifting, carrying up 50lbs, and pushing/pulling up to 200lbs; the ability to sit, stand, walk throughout campus, stoop, bend, crouch, climb ladders; and use tools and equipment that require dexterity;
