POSITION: DRAFTING TECHNOLOGY-ARCHITECTURAL (EVENING) ADJUNCT - Hall County Campus evening program
REPORTS TO: Dean of Advanced Technology and Engineering
COMPENSATION: Depending on education and qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision:
This position will serve to support our Architectural & Engineering Drawing Technology evening program at the Hall campus in Gainesville, GA. Courses taught include CAD Fundamentals, Mechanical 3D Modeling, Isometric and Multiview drawings, Section/Auxiliary views, Surface Development, Tolerencing and assembly drawings. Evening courses typically run from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 8 or 16 weeks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An Associate's degree in drafting technology or a related field. 3 years of paid work experience as a drafter, drafting instructor/trainer, or in the drafting industry. Applicant must possess good people skills and basic computer skills.

Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
