The Landscape Technician Landscapes and maintains related City grounds, parks and rights-of-way using mowing and other landscaping equipment. Essential duties include the follwoing. - Assists with the opening and closing of graves.
- Assists with the installation of footstones and monuments.
- Assists in tamping, seeding and strawing lots.
- Assists the public in the location of grave sites.
- Cleans mausoleum breezeway and chapel.
- Completes required reports.
- Maintains rights-of-way; removes trash and debris; mows grass.
- Maintains landscaping on city grounds.
- Maintains and repairs assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Purchases needed supplies and equipment.
- Repairs sunken graves and footstones.
- Repairs excavation sites.
- Plants, prunes, trims, sprays and waters trees and shrubs.
- Performs related duties.
