• Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced Landscape Shop Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of landscaping equipment and company vehicles.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical abilities and experience working with small engines and/or commercial equipment.
  • This position will work closely with the Service Manager to keep equipment and vehicles in safe, reliable working condition.
  • The successful candidate will be hands-on, dependable, organized, and take pride in the quality of their work.
  • This is a full-time position with some overtime and occasional Saturday hours.

• Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of lawn care and small-engine equipment, from line trimmers and blowers to commercial zero-turn mowers.
  • Perform ongoing preventative maintenance and repairs on Chevy trucks and company vehicles.
  • Repair and maintain company landscaping equipment as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Assist the Service Manager with vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and properly maintained to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

• Requirements:
  • 2–3 years of mechanical experience required, preferably with landscaping, lawn care, small-engine, or commercial equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with small engines and various lawn care equipment is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional overtime and rare Saturday hours.
  • Personal tools are a plus.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
