Landscape Maintenance Worker

We are looking for a dependable Landscape Maintenance Worker to help keep City parks, landscaping, and public areas clean, safe, and attractive. This is a hands-on, outdoor position for someone who enjoys physical work and working as part of a team.

Job Duties

• Maintain parks, lawns, planters, medians, and parkways.
• Mow, trim, edge, water, fertilize, and weed landscaped areas.
• Plant and care for shrubs, flowers, and other plants.
• Assist with tree and shrub trimming.
• Clean parks, walkways, fields, courts, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
• Operate trucks, tractors, and landscaping equipment.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Help install and repair sprinkler systems.
• Assist with basic repairs to buildings and recreation facilities.
• May apply pesticides and herbicides when properly trained or authorized.
• Complete simple work forms and follow safety procedures.
