Malibu Nursery & Landscaping provides landscape design, installation, maintenance, irrigation, and tree services for high-end residential properties. We've been operating for nearly 19 years and have approximately 55 employees. Our team includes people who have been with the company for more than a decade. About the Role

The Landscape Laborer will support our field crews in maintaining and improving residential landscapes. This is hands-on outdoor work where attention to detail matters. You'll help complete assigned tasks, care for tools and work areas, and communicate anything that needs a crew leader's attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist crews with routine landscape maintenance at residential properties.
• Help with planting and landscape installation tasks as assigned.
• Support weeding, trimming, and general landscape cleanup.
• Prepare work areas and move materials needed for assigned tasks.
• Use landscaping tools and equipment within your training.
• Collect debris and help leave properties clean and orderly.
• Report plant, irrigation, or property concerns to the crew leader.
• Care for tools and help keep equipment organized.
• Follow crew instructions, site requirements, and safe work practices.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of professional landscaping experience.
• Willingness to perform hands-on outdoor landscaping work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively with a crew.
• Attention to detail and respect for client property.
• Dependable attendance and ability to report to the Thousand Oaks location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three to four years of landscaping experience.
• Experience maintaining high-end residential properties.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance tools and equipment.

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 Employment
• Pay Range: $21- $26 per hour, depending on experience
• Benefits include five days of paid vacation and 10 days of paid sick leave annually, subject to company policy and applicable law.
