Responsibilities
Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and leaf removals
Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as digging, edging, and installing hardscape features
Operate mowers including push mowers, commercial walk behind mowers, and commercial stand on mowers
Carry and stack wall stone and pavers for hardscaping projects
Spread materials including mulch, stone, topsoil etc. using hand tools
Support excavation projects by spotting for operator and using laser level and measuring equipment
Requirements
A strong willingness to learn is essential, prior landscape experience is a bonus but candidate must be willing to learn and grow into the position
Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and basic equipment operation is highly desirable
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
Basic understanding of construction processes and hardscape installation techniques is a plus
Must be able to lift 100lbs repeatedly and transport materials over difficult terrain
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to the shop each day is required
Must be willing to work a varying work schedule dependent on weather and work requirements
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
