As a Landscape Foreman, you will lead a field crew of 2-5 employees on landscape construction projects. This role is responsible for supervising daily jobsite activities, coordinating labor and materials, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards. The Landscape Foreman serves as the on-site leader, working closely with project managers, equipment operators, and crew members to deliver high-quality landscape installations.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise construction crews on landscape installation projectsPlan and organize daily work activities, assigning tasks to maximize productivity and qualityPerform hands-on construction work including grading, planting, sod installation, mulching, hardscape installation, and site preparation as neededRead and interpret construction plans, drawings, and work ordersCoordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project timelinesMonitor jobsite progress and address issues related to quality, safety, or schedulingEnforce all safety policies and conduct daily jobsite safety briefingsEnsure proper use, care, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehiclesMaintain accurate timekeeping, job reports, and documentationCommunicate regularly with project managers and operations leadership regarding progress and needsRepresent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, and other tradesUnderstanding client needs while meeting or exceeding expectations.Planning, organizing and managing work for crew members at each client site locationConducting safety, equipment and timekeeping trainingInteracting with clients, residents, and employees with a high level of customer service

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience in landscape construction or related outdoor construction workPrior experience in a supervisory or foreman roleStrong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipmentAbility to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsPhysical ability to perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditionsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsCommitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanshipValid Florida Driver's License and the ability to pass an MVR checkReliable transportation
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience working on commercial, municipal, or large-scale residential construction projectsKnowledge of irrigation and drainage installation or coordinationExperience operating or supervising use of heavy equipment (skid steers, loaders, compactors, etc.)Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make field decisionsExperience training and mentoring crew membersFamiliarity with project scheduling, productivity tracking, and material managementInterest in career growth into project management or senior construction leadership roles
