Landscape and Lighting Field Installation Supervisor

About The Role

Lite Logics is hiring a Landscape and Lighting Field Installation Supervisor to lead a two-person crew on customer properties throughout the Tampa Bay area. This is a hands-on, part-time supervisory role (approximately 30 hours per week) paying $30 per hour, focused on delivering high-quality outdoor lighting installations, protecting customer property, and coaching crew members in the field.

What You’ll Do

As the Field Installation Supervisor you will organize and participate in installations, ensure work is performed safely and to spec, and serve as the primary onsite communicator with customers and management. You’ll use installation plans and company tools to track progress, document conditions, and verify final acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the approved lighting plan, scope, and materials before starting each job.
• Assign daily tasks, explain installation methods, and coach crew members on workmanship and safety.
• Confirm utility-location checks and site safety precautions before digging.
• Oversee fixture placement, low-voltage cable routing, landscape restoration, and site cleanup.
• Inspect workmanship, coordinate lighting tests, and perform aiming adjustments as needed.
• Track materials, crew time, progress, and issues using company tools and job records.
• Document before-and-after conditions with photos and completion checklists.
• Keep customers and management informed about progress, schedule impacts, and obstacles.
• Obtain management approval before changing scope, adding costs, or promising extra work.
• Coordinate required completion inspections and obtain customer/manager sign-off.
• Stop work for safety concerns or tasks that require a licensed specialist.

Who You Are

You’re a practical, hands-on installer with experience in landscape lighting, low-voltage systems, irrigation, landscaping, or a closely related field. You have experience leading or organizing a small crew, read plans accurately, and communicate clearly with customers and team members. You take pride in neat workmanship, safety, and restoring landscapes to excellent condition.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with landscape lighting or related outdoor installation work; direct landscape-lighting experience is preferred.
• Prior crew-lead or supervisory experience organizing field installation work.
• Ability to read installation plans and follow manufacturer instructions.
• Strong attention to workmanship, safety, and customer property protection.
• Clear verbal communication and practical problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation to report to Tampa Bay job locations.
• Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, job records, and checklists.
• Able to perform essential outdoor installation duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Note: This position does not authorize line-voltage electrical work or other tasks requiring licenses the employee does not hold.

Schedule And Compensation

Part-time schedule (approximately 30 hours per week) with a pay rate of $30 per hour. Work takes place at customer properties across the Tampa Bay area and requires reliable, timely reporting to assigned job locations.
