    Note: Applicants must be admitted to the New York State Bar and have at least 3+ year of landlord-tenant or housing litigation experience. Candidates must be able to attend in-person court appearances throughout New York City.

    Job Description

    • Represent clients in Housing Court and other courts throughout all five boroughs of New York City.
    • Manage landlord-tenant and housing litigation matters from inception through resolution.
    • Draft pleadings, motions, affirmations, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents.
    • Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, conferences, motions, and trials.
    • Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
    • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
    • Independently manage deadlines, caseloads, and assigned matters with minimal supervision.
    • Deliver strategic legal guidance while maintaining exceptional client service.

    Qualifications

    • Active New York State Bar license in good standing.
    • 3+ year of landlord-tenant or housing litigation experience.
    • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
    • Experience drafting litigation documents and appearing in court.
    • Excellent organization, case management, and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of New York City.
    • Must be available for full-time employment and regular in-person court appearances.
