A national single-family homebuilder's Northern California division is seeking a Land Acquisition Analyst to support new community growth across the greater Sacramento region. The role supports the land team on deal underwriting, market research, feasibility analysis, and due diligence for residential land acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite prospective land deals: proformas, budgets, and financial modeling
• Run market and submarket research, comp studies, and absorption analysis
• Support due diligence: title, entitlements, utilities, fees, and site constraints
• Prepare deal packages and corporate approval submittals for land committee
• Coordinate with land development, purchasing, and division leadership

Qualifications

• Experience with a single-family homebuilder (land, finance, or forward planning capacity)
• 3-7 years of industry experience
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; GIS or mapping tools a plus
• Based within commuting range of the greater Sacramento area
