Description

You're done with jobs where night shift means no support, no growth, and no real future.

You want steady hours, solid pay, and a machine you can actually take ownership of.

You want your skill to matter. Your attention to detail too.

If you like running equipment right, solving problems fast, and being counted on, keep reading.

Who We Are

At Powpack, we turn great ideas into delightful products that help customers get more done, faster. For you, that means joining a mission-driven team that builds, improves, and keeps technology human instead of hiding behind red tape.

As a Lamination Machine Operator (3rd Shift), you'll be part of a professional but agile manufacturing team that values accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This is a place for people who want long-term work, modern equipment, and room to grow with the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Your shift is about keeping production moving with quality, consistency, and control. You'll run lamination equipment, work from job specs and measurements, make adjustments, troubleshoot issues, and help make sure the product coming off the line is right.

This isn't a stand-around role. You'll be on your feet, hands on the machine, thinking ahead, watching details, and catching problems before they turn into waste or downtime. If you know manufacturing, you know how good it feels when the line is dialed in and the work is clean.

You'll work in a stable, growing production environment with advanced flexible packaging technology. The reward is real: trust, ownership, learning, and the chance to grow as operations expand.

The Hiring Process

We have a rigorous process for hiring, but move FAST for the right person. You could be hired in as little as 10 days! We've had lots of interest, so the first few steps are automated to make sure you can get considered quickly.

Don't worry—if you take the time to apply, we will respond to 100% of the applicants.

The process:

  1. Click apply and answer a few Who, What, When questions. (5 min)
  2. You'll be texted a link for a 10 min questionnaire that will help match you to the job (or others that might suit you!).
  3. You'll get a text for a quick 1-way video question. (5 min)
  4. We'll send you a link to get scheduled for an in-person interview.
  5. You can easily be in for an interview within a couple days from right now.

What You'll Earn

You'll earn $22-$32 per hour, based on your experience and skill level. This is a full-time 40-hour role with long-term stability, and there is real opportunity for advancement as Powpack continues expanding operations.

Why Work With Us

You'll get health insurance, paid time off, and full-time long-term employment in a stable manufacturing environment with growing production demand.

You'll also get something a lot of shops can't offer: a modern facility, advanced flexible packaging technology, close collaboration with leadership, and a culture that rewards initiative, ownership, and process improvement.

This is not the place for someone who needs constant hand-holding, cuts corners on quality, or resists change. It is the place for someone who wants to learn specialized equipment, improve systems, and grow with a fast-moving company that's scaling the right way.

Who We're Looking For

You'll thrive here if you like being the person who notices small issues before they become big ones. You're mechanically sharp, safety-conscious, and you take pride in getting the setup, adjustments, and finished output right.

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in lamination, printing, converting, packaging, or manufacturing.
  • You know how to operate production machinery in a fast-paced environment.
  • You're comfortable reading job specs, measurements, and production instructions.
  • You have strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • You care about product quality, consistency, and safety.
  • You're comfortable with setups, adjustments, and routine maintenance.
  • You can work independently and still contribute to team goals.
  • You're able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • You're willing to learn, adapt, and grow in a rapidly expanding company.
  • Experience with solventless lamination is preferred.
  • Experience with Nordmeccanica equipment is a plus, not a requirement.
  • If you want a low-accountability job where you can coast, this won't be a fit.

If you're ready for a 3rd shift role where your skill, work ethic, and judgment actually matter, apply now. Good operators get noticed here.
