--Responsibilities: This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable and growing company! The Laminating Department Lead will oversee daily laminating operations in a corrugated manufacturing environment. This hands on role is responsible for supporting machine setup and troubleshooting, monitoring production efficiency and maintaining quality standards. This person will also train and coach operators, enforcing safety procedures, reviewing production schedules, maintaining accurate documentation, and identifying opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, and quality issues. Candidates should have laminator or corrugator experience, strong technical knowledge of adhesives and board construction, and the ability to lead and support a production team.
-Requirements:
-Must have at least 5+ years experience operating laminator or corrugator within a corrugated and or paperboard packaging plant.
-Must have a strong understanding of lamination processes, including delamination prevention, warp control, and bonding quality.
-Ability to make machine adjustments and troubleshoot mechanical and process related issues, including adjustments through machine control panels.
-Experience working with paperboard materials and both starch-based and PVA adhesives.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to support operator training.
-Familiarity with inside print applications and cut to mark registration.
