Description

PGS Worldwide is seeking a LabVIEW Integration and Test Engineer in Chelmsford, MA for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The LabVIEW Integration and Test Engineer will develop, maintain, and execute software-based test solutions for complex electronic systems, subsystems, and components. This role requires extensive LabVIEW and TestStand experience, strong systems integration and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead test activities through planning, execution, analysis, and issue resolution.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 6–8 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Related professional-level experience may be considered in place of the degree requirement.
• Ability to obtain an interim security clearance before starting the position.
• 5+ years of experience writing, editing, and supporting software using LabVIEW.
• 3+ years of experience writing, editing, and supporting software using TestStand.
• 5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office to prepare status reports, project plans, and work instructions.
• 3+ years of experience analyzing and resolving technical problems.
• Experience developing and executing system or subsystem test plans and procedures.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple technical tasks.
• Experience working with and leading teams toward milestone completion.
• Ability to work with minimal detailed direction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills

• 9+ years of professional-level experience.
• RF or microwave systems and subsystem expertise.
• 5+ years of experience as a subject-matter expert in RF or microwave technology.
• Experience developing complex TestStand test programs.
• Experience measuring electrical parameters for components and subassemblies.
• Experience researching and specifying components for test-equipment design.
• Ability to troubleshoot measurement issues involving instruments, fixtures, software, or units under test.
• Experience generating block diagrams, assembly sketches, parts lists, and engineering documentation.
• Corrective and preventive action experience.
• Experience deriving test requirements from system or design requirements.
• Experience preparing technical charts, presentations, solutions, or trade studies.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, test, document, and maintain integration and test solutions.
• Integrate internally developed and COTS/GOTS components, subsystems, and systems.
• Translate customer requirements into test solutions that consider technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Establish functional and technical test specifications and standards.
• Resolve hardware and software interface problems.
• Define test input and output parameters.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate system and subsystem testing with programs and supporting organizations.
• Analyze test results and prepare system-level evaluation reports.
• Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing.
• Verify incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.
• Lead technical teams and support milestone completion.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• Full-time 1st shift.

Pay

• $79.04 per hour
