Position Overview
As a Laborer, you will assist with insulation installation and general construction support tasks. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, being part of a team, and working on active job sites. No prior insulation experience is required; training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials
- Install fiberglass insulation batts in walls and ceilings according to project specifications
- Inject foam insulation into CMU (cement block) walls
- Assist with drilling, mixing materials, and preparing work areas
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
- Assemble and disassemble scaffolding and ladders as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Complete tasks efficiently to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials regularly
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including cold, rain, and heat
- Comfortable working at heights (lifts, scaffolding, ladders)
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks
