Local Construction Company / Temporary General Laborer
Pay: $15
Hours: Monday - Friday 7-4
Position is lasting 6-8 Months
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to assist with a variety of construction projects. This position will support skilled workers and crews with general construction duties, material handling, site cleanup, and other tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, comfortable performing physical work, and able to work safely in an outdoor construction environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist construction crews with daily jobsite activities
- Load, unload, carry, and move construction materials and equipment
- Operate basic hand and power tools as directed
- Assist skilled workers with construction, installation, and repair tasks
- Prepare and maintain work areas
- Clean and organize jobsites throughout the workday
- Remove debris, trash, and excess materials from work areas
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople
- Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow directions and work well with a crew
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
