Responsible for a variety of manual duties related to water supply. Will assist with maintenance tasks pertaining to wells, springs, storage reservoirs and water meters as needed. Other duties may include: yard/building maintenance such as mowing, trimming, sprinkler repair, pulling weeds, raking leaves, painting, sweeping, cleaning, and driving equipment and vehicles. Uses a variety of tools and equipment depending on the specific assignment. Performs other duties as assigned. Must possess a valid driver license and have a good driving record. Must be able to perform heavy manual labor outside during spring, summer and fall months. Must be safety minded and dependable. Due to equipment and city vehicle operation, applicants must be at least 18 years of age. The successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation. Pay is based upon qualifications. SALARY WILL GENERALLY START AT THE LOWER END OF THE SALARY RANGE.
