Basic Duties and Responsibilities: Receive, direct, and unload grain trucks and railcars using dump pits and lift systems Climb ladders and stairs to access bins, silos, and equipment platforms Operate conveyors, augers, legs, and bucket elevators to move grain Open and close slide gates to control grain flow Shovel, sweep, and vacuum spilled grain and debris Load outbound trucks and railcars to proper weight limits Maintain clean pits, tunnels, and work areas to prevent hazards Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Follow fall protection requirements Assist with facility repairs and seasonal maintenance projects Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors
