    This is a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position working 19 hours or less per week.

    Less than high school graduate with the ability to read and write. No experience required. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

    This is a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position working 19 hours or less per week.

    Nature & Purpose of Position

    Responsible for performing a variety of unskilled manual tasks and assist the Golf Professional in the starting, monitoring, and maintenance of play at the Bearkat Course.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Greets guests upon arrival to golf course and monitor practice facilities to ensure punctual starting. Assures the orderly flow of play in accordance with the posted starting times. Rotates players as needed to ensure flow of play. Keeps a record of all rounds played, including golf car usage. Makes sure all guests have checked in the golf shop and have receipts. Maintains an adequate supply of scorecards and pencils. Directs the flow of traffic. Enforces club rules and regulations. Instructs the players in the code of etiquette. Oversees the golf course grounds. Assists the players with any on course problems. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Additional duties vary with each project and department as necessary given the uniqueness of each particular program, project or department. Requires accuracy in all duties. Working conditions will vary from position to position. May require working outdoors. Work schedules may vary from normal working hours as required by programs.
