NOW HIRING: MITIGATION TECHNICIAN

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho

Pay: $18-$25/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time | Rotating on-call schedule required

Start Date: ASAP

What You'll Do

As a Mitigation Technician, you'll respond to properties affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, and other types of damage. You'll work hands-on to stabilize the property, prevent further damage, and begin the restoration process.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Responding to emergency water, fire, smoke, and mold calls
  • Water extraction and structural drying
  • Performing demolition and cleanup as needed
  • Taking moisture readings and documenting job progress
  • Assisting with fire and smoke cleanup and odor removal
  • Supporting mold remediation projects
  • Performing basic carpet and upholstery cleaning
  • Boarding up and securing damaged structures
  • Communicating professionally with customers throughout the restoration process
  • Maintaining company vehicles, equipment, and work areas
  • Participating in a rotating on-call schedule

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous construction, restoration, or hands-on experience is a plus
  • IICRC certifications are a plus, but we're willing to train the right person
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work in tight or confined spaces
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer, smartphone, and tablet skills
  • A positive, team-oriented, can-do attitude
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
