We are seeking an R&D Laboratory Technician to join a fast-paced team supporting Point-of-Care (POC) Assay Development. This role involves lab testing for new product development (NPD), verification/validation studies for regulatory submittals, current product support (CPS), and troubleshooting.
Execute R&D troubleshooting and CLSI Verification protocols on clinical chemistry analyzers and prototype instruments.
Prepare aqueous solutions and blood samples (plasma, serum, whole blood) and assemble consumable components.
Participate in test method development, validation, and execution of multi-test protocols.
Analyze data, investigate unexpected results, and communicate findings to R&D, Technical Operations, and QA teams.
Assist with lab support duties, including inventory management, data extraction, and updating local work instructions.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment while adhering to GLP, GDP, and safety standards.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical/Biomedical Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 1+ years of industrial/laboratory experience (R&D experience in medical diagnostics preferred).
Technical Skills: Experience handling blood products (plasma, serum, whole blood), wet chemistry skills, mechanical aptitude, and lab equipment maintenance.
Software & Analytics: Proficiency in MS Excel and Word with a basic understanding of statistics and data analysis (CLSI guidance knowledge is a plus).
Safety: Willingness to work in a biohazardous environment following strict safety protocols
