Laboratory Technician

FieldBridge is looking for a Laboratory Technician in Strasburg, OH. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay is $20–$22/hour | 7-3-7-4 Rotating Schedule (12-hr shifts, Days & Nights) | Weekly pay every Friday | Significant OT opportunity at 1.5x | This is a $70K/yr.+ position

This is a contract position. Candidates must be available for both day shift (6AM–6PM) and night shift (6PM–6AM) on a rotating basis.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery (PSD) to oilfield customers. This role is responsible for quality assurance testing, laboratory reporting prior to wellsite service delivery, and providing advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design. The ideal candidate will maintain strong communication across internal product centers, client support labs, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance tests on company products and prepare accurate laboratory reports prior to wellsite service delivery
• Conduct advanced additive selection and fluid design with the required level of technical competency
• Maintain laboratory equipment in clean, working condition and ensure proper waste disposal
• Perform risk analysis before each task to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns
• Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and support continuous improvement through structured action plans

Required Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory or oilfield technical environment preferred
• Familiarity with fluid design, additive selection, or quality assurance testing
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule including nights
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in reporting
• Knowledge of HSE policies and PPE requirements; ability to maintain required safety training
• Strong communication skills for internal and external customer interaction
