Job Overview

This is a 6-month onsite position with a Monday to Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM. The Laboratory Technician will perform essential testing such as TPA, pH, solids, water activity, and colorimeter testing. You will be responsible for preparing samples, calibrating instruments, executing test methods, documenting results, and maintaining laboratory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct TPA, pH, solids, aW, and colorimeter testing with precision.
• Calibrate instruments and perform standard readings.
• Document all results accurately and maintain laboratory readiness.
• Communicate testing status to the Technical Services team.
• Participate in ongoing studies such as Extended Cure Study and Oiling Study.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience or ability to perform routine laboratory testing and sample preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for providing updates and documentation support.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Preferences

• Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Laboratory Technology, or a related scientific field.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant laboratory experience.
