Laboratory Technician

2-4 years of relevant work experience, Good understanding of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI and BIOS;Performance/Power/Thermal related lab work experience is an asset. • Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to performance and power characterization, optimization and validation of pre-production CPU/GPU products.
• The following is a list of key responsibilities that the candidate will assume
• Setup power and performance measurement platforms, execute power and performance test plans, support lab debug activities.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Associate?s or Bachelors degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience, Good understanding of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI and BIOS;Performance/Power/Thermal related lab work experience is an asset
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
