KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for Laboratory Technician in Anaheim, Ca. 

Hours: On most weeks - Monday through Friday 08:00 a.m. - 05:00 p.m.

Professional Summary:
As a Laboratory Technician, you will ensure all laboratory tasks are well organized and completed in a timely manner as determined by management. Support the Laboratory Supervisor and Plant Manager to establish and improve department procedures and policies. As part of the  team, you are responsible to learn, understand, represent and contribute to Company policies, procedures and philosophies, including completing all assigned trainings as required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential job functions, but not limited to -
Laboratory Duties:
*Prepare samples for testing, run analysis and generate reporting for review of results.
*Conduct quality control (QC) testing, generate Certificate of Analysis, and enter analysis into computer system.
*Perform and document routine maintenance of the instruments, laboratory and equipment including calibrations, daily laboratory housekeeping and detection methods.
*Rotate all products (check for production dates and expiration dates). Notify Lab Supervisor if supplies are running low.
*Rotate retaining samples to ensure currency of samples and to avoid expiration in accordance with approved standards.
*Dispose of retain samples and expired material in accordance with approved safety and environmentally friendly standards.
*Analyze failures/issues and implement performance processes to enhance future service deliveries.
*Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing safety and health policies and procedures.
*Maintain traceability of product & materials; keeping them in their proper place within the storage facility.
*Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by enforcing regulations.
*Maintain a neat, orderly and organized laboratory environment, ensuring that all inventory (raw material, work in process and finished goods) and supplies are stored in their proper places.
*Operate and maintain all laboratory test equipment in a clean and safe manner, ensure equipment is in good working order.
*Aid the Laboratory Supervisor to facilitate the training of new staff members.
*Ensure adherence to all S.O.P.'s, Work Instructions, and Daily Check-lists.
*Works with internal and external auditors as needed.
*Performs other duties as assigned.

*4-year college degree or Laboratory Certification in Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering preferred
* High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional lab and office environment. This role routinely uses standard lab and office equipment such as pipettes, scales, centrifuges, burners, incubators, water baths, fume hoods as well as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This job operates in a lab environment, working around containers of chemicals with the potential for fumes or airborne exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals. Wearing of required PPE, including occasional wearing of respirator, is mandatory.
I understand that this position is largely sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision utilization for reading and computer work. I may be asked to lift files, open file cabinets and bend or stand while sitting on a chair or stool, as necessary.
Note: The company is committed to providing a safe work environment and will provide necessary equipment, PPE and training to perform the physical demands of the job.




Compensation depends on experience but is typically 22-25/hr.
