We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.Job DescriptionOverview: Under general supervision, implements laboratory policies, procedures, and services in accordance with the Quality Management System and in compliance with applicable regulations. Ensures efficient and effective laboratory operations by directing the work of others.Responsibilities:Schedules sufficient number of laboratory personnel (i.e. technologists, technicians) to complete laboratory testsEnsure all required policies and operational procedures are followedLead and coordinate daily workflows to support operationCoordinate metrics to achieve throughput goalsMaintain daily inventory levelsEnsure that all lab staff is current with training, competencies and continuing educationManage performance including appraisals, improvement plansFollow and enforce adherence to Quality Management SystemTrack assay plate inventoryCommunicate with cross functional teams to achieve operational efficienciesReview and revise department standard operating proceduresContinually assess processes and create action plans to make improvementsEnsures compliance with regulatory standards, laws and requirements of requisite agencies by employing appropriate systems/processesLead individuals and work groups to continuously improve performance by creating an environment that ensures application of quality principles and techniques to achieve desired outcomesComplete special projects as assigned within designated timeframeQualificationsQualifications:Requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology including up to one year of practical training and six years of full time clinical laboratory experienceMust have current certification as a Medical TechnologistMust obtain an active TN license as a Laboratory SupervisorRequires the analytical skills necessary to plan for, design or enhance highly complex systems and programs, resolve problems requiring a comprehensive and state of the art awareness of scientific fieldRequires the ability to effectively manage the employees within assigned unit/department and to persuade and negotiate with peer level managers on issues and programs that impact assigned unit/department.Work requires effectively dealing with conflicting views or issues and mediating fair workable solutionsAbility to recruit, develop and retain a high performing teamAbility to work independently and demonstrate a high degree of personal & professional initiativeProblem solving ability - able to develop creative, practical solutions that meet business objectivesStrong project management skills ability to create, adapt and follow work plansAbility to work in a global, multicultural collaborative team environmentAbility to create cross-functional teams driven by project / business needs; ability to lead teams and secure outcomes without direct line authorityStrong skills in organizational/time management; able to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdditional InformationManisha A.Jathar Integrated Resources, Inc IT REHAB CLINICAL NURSING Inc. 5000 - 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013 (7th Year) Certified MBE I GSA - Schedule 66 I GSA - Schedule 621I I GSA - Schedule 70Direct: (732) 429-1850
