Description

Job Title: Laboratory Operations / Inventory Coordinator

Location: Ridgefield, CT
Pay Rate: $26.18/hr
Duration: 12 Months, Potential Extension
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Description

  • Support DMPK operations involving dispensing, tracking, storage, and shipment of reagents and laboratory materials used in bioanalytical assays.

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments of reagents, matrices, reference standards, and biological materials.

  • Manage freezer organization, space allocation, and periodic inventory verification.

  • Maintain inventory databases, spreadsheets, and electronic tracking systems.

  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and regulatory compliance.

  • Support permits and renewals related to shipment and clearance of reference standards and biological materials.

  • Assist with laboratory equipment maintenance and freezer management as needed.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific or technical field.

Required Skills

  • Laboratory operations or inventory management experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office/Outlook.

  • Experience maintaining inventory databases or tracking systems.

  • Experience handling laboratory reagents, materials, or biological samples.

  • Knowledge of laboratory material storage and inventory procedures.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience coordinating domestic and international laboratory shipments.

  • Experience with laboratory inventory management software or electronic tracking systems.

  • Experience with shipping documentation and regulatory requirements for biological materials or reference standards.

  • Experience with freezer management and laboratory equipment maintenance.
